Notifying about the violation of the Regulations and Principles of Good Manners
-
What are the Principles of Good Manners mentioned in the Regulations?
Good manners are the principles that we all use in everyday life. Living among people we behave so as to not injure others and we all try to maintain good relations. We would like for there to be a good atmosphere on our website and that all of our Users would have fun as well as equal chances.
- One of the most obvious examples of violating the rules of good manners is when some users agree together to play the auction. Doing so they make an "artificial crowd" for the purpose of getting rid of other Users from this Auction (those who do not act in conspiracy.)
- Another example is to use a username that is generally considered vulgar, obscene, abusive or likely to offend other Users.
- If the information given in the register form results false, you are breaking good manners law of the site.

Some of the Auctions seem to be set up. There are three Autobids bidding, suddenly they stop at one moment and the Auction finishes. Is it fraud?
- This is usually the result of Users "savings". Seeing that there are a few Autobids bidding, they switch off theirs in order to "save" some BIDs. They plan to join the bidding later, because they are sure that the item will not be sold so cheap. This is a basic mistake! If several people about the same time decide to "wait", usually the Auction ends abruptly and with a very low final price.
- Sometimes it is often a mere coincidence. Someone did not replenish their account and although a higher price was set on this User’s Autobid they lacked BIDs on their account. Some people plan to set up a particular amount of BIDs and think about it later, but they often forget about the Auction.
- Sometimes, unfortunately, this is a conspiracy of a few users who form an "artificial crowd." Members of the group jointly set their Autobids for a particular auction (in such a way as to end bidding simultaneously) counting on the fact that other persons participating in the auction will get discouraged and resign from bidding. Then the group acting together does not update the settings of their Autobids and their Autobids finish bidding, apart from the one who wins the auction. Such practice is in violation of the Regulations. Administrators constantly monitor auctions and verify their correct course. Dishonest Users may be sanctioned under the Regulations (including blocking their account, and BIDs forfeiture).

Do you practise hyping up item prices?
- No. First of all, high price items are not in our interest. We prefer when prices are attractive – like any store! We do not have though any influence on the decisions of our users. An auction continues until someone wants to buy the item at the current price, which is no secret.
- We provide a complete history of the auction after its completion and the current list of the last ten bidders. Anyone can follow the course of the auction. To view the history, go to the Auction details by clicking on the picture or title. Under Details all the information concerning the Auction is available.
